District Governor 1985-1986, Michael Reiner
Biography: Michael Reiner was born in Budapest, Hungary and arrived in Australia with his wife Inga and their two children, Michael and Christine, in 1955.

He is managing director of the family company engaged in the manufacturing of uniforms and caps for Federal and State Government Departments, and for civilian headwear.

He was inducted into the Rotary Club of Coburg in 1963 and served as Board Director, Chairman of Community Service, Sergeant, and member of the District Conference Committee.

In 1976 he helped charter the Rotary Club of Pascoe Vale with the classification of “clothing manufacturing” and became President in 1977. From 1978 to 1982 he was a member of the District Youth Exchange Committee.

His community involvements include the Coburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chamber of Manufacturing, and the Edith Bendall Retirement Village.
