Our Program Chair (who is writing this article) scours the Facebook pages of other clubs looking for guest speakers. Quite a few of our guest speakers were contacted after seeing them present at another club.

Once someone agrees to present, help them have a positive experience by providing:

- Presentation time limits
- Audience size and background
- Audio-visual equipment available
- Dress expectations/level of formality of the meetings (for instance at Pascoe Vale, we’re quite relaxed and informal)
- Information about meals if they’re a part of your meeting
- Contact details for the meeting coordinator
