Homelessness Week and a breakfast BBQ
This morning, Pascoe Vale Rotary was honoured to serve at a community barbecue and cook bacon & egg muffin sandwiches (vegan options too!) as part of Homelessness Week, courtesy of Merri-bek City Council and Merri Outreach Support Service (MOSS)
The community barbecue was part of an awareness event helping shine a light on homelessness in our community and the people and services working to support those sleeping rough.
We had some great conversations, made some valuable connections and gained a better understanding of the challenges facing people sleeping rough right here in our local area.
A big thank you to everyone involved for bringing people together and helping build a more connected and caring community.
