SPECIAL PROJECT Basic Car Maintenance

The Basic Car Maintenance Workshops for young people and adults was introduced by Rotarian, Mandy Gosetti.

Sessions were held at the Fawkner State Emergency Service in Sydney Road, Fawkner, the Pascoe Vale North Primary School in Kent Road Pascoe Vale, and Oxygen Youth Space 4-8 Gaffney Street, Coburg. The sessions equipped the participants with the knowledge they need to understand their vehicle’s engines and perform basic tasks such a checking fluid levels and changing tyres.

Thanks to Steve Papas for running the hands-on elements of the program and Jason Doyle for the safety aspects. Reece Jongebloed provided additional support for the program and Mandy Gosetti travelled to various Rotary Clubs and Other organisations to advertise and promote the project.
