This Saturday marks a significant milestone for the Rotary Club of Pascoe Vale as we celebrate 50 years of service to our community. Our Community Celebration is an opportunity to showcase the projects, partnerships and people that have made our club an important part of Pascoe Vale for the past five decades.
To make the day a success, we’re calling for all hands on deck. Whether you’re helping with setup and pack-up, manning a stall, selling raffle tickets, cooking at the sausage sizzle, supporting children’s activities, or simply chatting with visitors about Rotary, every member can help create a welcoming and engaging event.
The day will feature a fantastic range of activities and displays, including:
- The Little Lives Art Show
- A World Polio Day display, including the famous iron lung exhibit
- A Peace Pole Ceremony
- Information displays showcasing Rotary’s local and international projects
- Activities for children, including gardening and art-based activities
- A community raffle
- A traditional Rotary sausage sizzle
- A cake stall hosted by the Country Women’s Association (CWA)
- Displays and community engagement activities from the State Emergency Service (SES)
This event is more than a celebration of our history. It’s an opportunity to connect with local residents, share the story of Rotary, highlight the impact of our projects, and show prospective members and volunteers how they can become involved.
As we celebrate 50 years of service, let’s also look forward to the next 50 years of making a difference in our community and beyond.
This is another opportunity to Create an Impact.
We look forward to seeing as many members as possible on the day. Let’s come together, celebrate this remarkable milestone, and show Pascoe Vale the power of Rotary in action. ๐๐๐ฒ๐
