A Peace Pole and milestone for our Merri-bek Rotary Clubs

Today we celebrated an amazing milestone for the Rotary Clubs of Coburg, Pascoe Vale and Moreland.

Together we have 150 years of local and international service.

Coburg was chartered 70 years ago and the club was instrumental in establishing Pascoe Vale in 1976, followed by Moreland in 1996.

That means Pascoe Vale was chartered 50 years ago and Moreland 30 years ago!

Members united at Coburg Lake Reserve to unveil a Peace Pole, marking our wish for peace and unity in our community. It is a lasting monument to the work and dedication of Rotary volunteers who continue the service that their predecessors began 70 years ago.

Each club has their own unique plan of action to support the community and Unite for Good.

May Peace Prevail on Earth!
