What we do at Pascoe Vale Rotary
Whether it’s planting trees, mentoring youth, or responding to urgent needs, our Rotary Club is committed to taking action where it’s needed most. Together, we believe in creating lasting change locally and globally.
At the heart of our Rotary Club is a simple but powerful mission: Service Above Self. We are a group of locals dedicated to making communities stronger, healthier, and more connected.
Here’s a brief list of some of the things we do:
- Free vision and hearing screening tests for children aged 4 to 6
- Workshops on basic car maintenance and safety for younger and adult drivers
- Barista Basics workshops
- Mock job interviews for VCE students at local schools
- Working bees everywhere!
- Supporting schools, kindergartens, neighbourhood houses
- Volunteering at other Rotary projects such as RIMERN and Donations in Kind
- Annual Community Policing Awards
- Partner with the Fawkner SES
- Present awards to graduating school students
- Participate in local environmental projects
- Supporting a children’s orphanage in Kenya
- Supporting international projects such as End Polio, Rotarians Against Malaria, Interplast and more
- Sponsor local students to attend STEM events
- Sausage sizzle fundraisers
