Steve Pappas awarded a Lions Club of Glenroy Community Volunteer Award
Our club is incredibly proud to celebrate one of our own, who has recently been recognised with a Lions Club Australia Day Community Volunteer Award. This well-deserved honour shines a light on Steve’s many years of quiet, consistent service that has made a real difference to our club and across our community.
From fundraisers to community group gatherings, Steve reliably steps in to make sure everyone is ready to serve and ready to eat!
This award recognises more than just the countless sausages Steve has cooked and the many tears shed over all those chopped onions. It celebrates generosity, reliability, and a genuine desire to serve others.
We’re grateful for the time, effort, and heart that Steve brings to every event, and we couldn’t think of a more deserving recipient.
Our thanks and gratitude as always to Lois Pappas, who works alongside Steve, and supports our club and community. It’s a lot of work, especially when your day starts at 5am and ends late!
Congratulations Steve on this wonderful achievement, and thank you for everything you do for our club and our community!
