Parkville Games Village, Parkville

The Games Village was constructed on the site of the former Royal Park Psychiatric Hospital in the inner Melbourne suburb of Parkville. It was built to house 6000 participants and officials during the Commonwealth Games. Following the Games, the individual units will be reconfigured and sold to accommodate around 1000 families.
