Guest speaker: Natalie Hood District Youth Programs Chair

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming Natalie Hood as our guest speaker. Natalie was supported by the Rotary Club of Pascoe Vale to attend RYLA Elevate at the end of 2025. Elevate is described by the RYLA Oceania team as “an advanced personal and professional development experience for community-minded leaders. It builds on the values and energy of RYLA, helping participants deepen self-awareness, strengthen their leadership vision and form lifelong connections.”

Natalie has participated and been involved in Rotary Youth Programs throughout District 9790 since 2016, and she is the current Youth Programs Chair for the District. Alongside the various programs and teams, she works to support young people to achieve success and build foundational leadership skills through Rotary.

Natalie spoke to us about her journey through Rotary, including a youth exchange to Switzerland when she was in year 10, reminding us all about the value of Rotary programs for young people and seeing the potential in others.
