Guest speaker: club member Peter

It was a pleasure last night to have one of our Rotarians, Peter Arnheim, give us a Rotarian Behind The Badge Talk!

 

Peter spoke about growing up in a migrant family, who came out from Germany in the late 1930’s, his school life, and his university years studying Laaw. Married to Marilyn with two daughters and seven grandchildren, Peter still works  and has little interest in retirement. Go Peter!

 

Peter also spoke about his early years in Rotary in the 70’s and 80’s and the exciting times we had with projects such as the Edith Bendal Lodge and our famous art show at the Coburg Town Hall with Brushmen of the Bush!

Peter still finds Rotary invigorating with our new members adding needed new energy and ideas!
