A Peace Pole for Belle Vue Park Primary School

The rain could not dampen the spirit of peace as Rotarians from the Broadmeadows and Pascoe Vale clubs joined the Belle Vue Park school community to unveil the new Peace Pole on Remembrance Day.

Students, teachers, and Rotarians gathered for a special ceremony to celebrate the occasion. The Peace Pole, inscribed with the message of peace in several languages, serves as a daily reminder of our shared commitment to kindness, understanding, and global harmony.

As part of Pascoe Vale Rotary’s 50 Peace Poles for 50 Years project (50 years since our club began), installing this Peace Pole is planting a seed of peace in the hearts of young people.

By placing a Peace Pole at schools, our club hopes to inspire future generations to become ambassadors of right here in our own community and beyond.

Lest we forget those who lost their lives to bring freedom & peace to the world.

May Peace Prevail On Earth.
