 ws. A neuroscientist by training\, Emma now works across research\, health
 \, and community projects that aim to make science more useful and accessi
 ble. She helps lead a global clinical trial platform called TrialScreen\, 
 which connects everyday Australians with health research that might benefi
 t them. She’s also been a long-time advocate for women in science\, has 
 worked on local community science initiatives like BioQuisitive and the Ph
 oenix School Program &amp;amp\; has even dabbled in art as a form of health me
 ssaging.</p>\n<p>Emma’s talk tonight will bring together some of these e
 xperiences\, from brain science to community health and share how we can a
 ll get involved in building a healthier future.</p>\n
